Giggle
We spent the bank holiday with Grandad, Nana, Carla, Jem and the animals Zack, Ruby, Busy and Oscar.
Elizabeth was in her element! She loved having so many people (and animals) to play with.
Firstly there was building and destroying towers of bricks. Then there were new Little Miss books for everyone to read to Elizabeth.
She enjoyed putting on her welly boots and going out to pick fruit, find eggs and see the chickens and geese... although we had to stop her going over to the geese for a closer inspection.
The blip was taken when the 3 dogs had run up to see Elizabeth, she was giggling behind her hand.
We had a lovely roast dinner, but Elizabeth only really ate the yorkshire puddings. For pudding, she ate all the raspberries and left the rest of the jelly that they were sitting in. However, she ate plenty of blackberries, raspberries, pears and apples while fruit picking, so she certainly didn't starve.
We played outside for a while with a ball, and a toy tractor "one, two, three, push".
And then we all went home.
Potty update: we've had no wee wees on the floor for a week, they've all gone in the potty. She's stopped telling me she's doing a wee wee at other times, so I think it might be early still to switch to pull-ups. We'll see how it goes.
Bed update: A bit of a grumble getting out of the bed last night. But tbh, she was doing that now and then anyway, so I'm not blaming the new bed.
Also, I ended up sleeping in her bed last night, because there wasn't enough room for 3 in the bed and my bump. It's very comfortable! Hurrah!
