All's fair in love...

Took the girls to the fair in the park today, it was a bit wild and windy but they loved it.

I got invited to go for a ride on the back of someones motorbike today which got me pondering a bit. If I was made that offer 12 months ago - my reaction would have been to laugh and declare what a ridiculous idea! As I would have been far too frightened to even comtemplate it..

But today I just thought - why the hell not?! I am not going to let myself build up loads of barriers in my life now. I was even thinking of sorting out my passport and getting on a plane again. I know! *look at me* I'm growing.

Strange day of texts from different folks. Sometimes the search for a soulmate is fraught with conundrums! When did things get so complicated? I like to keep it simple.

Lily is home! She loved the bands at Leeds. She raved about Pulp. I take credit for her outstanding musical taste by playing 'His and Hers' to her when she was a baby. She also has a crush on Jarvis. Just like her mum.

I was particulary pleased she enjoyed Noah and the Whale because not only are they one of the Get it Loud in Libraries bands but they are one of my favourites too and very apt for my day today.
