Best of British

Nice lie in this morning. Well earned after using the past two days constructively while OH was working over the bank holiday. So a gleaming house to just laze around in today - lovely. We ventured out this afternoon in spite of the grey clouds and looked for blipping opportunities at our local RSPB reserve. Sadly the light wasn't good and the heavens opened but we did get a few good shots.

However walked in to the aroma of roast beef left cooking slowly while we were out and decided on this blip instead as it was a perfect way to end a lovely afternoon. Steve said there us no better sight than me walking into the room carrying Sunday dinner! Hmmm. I decided to take this as a compliment! Decided on eating whilst watching a film on Apple TV as we seem to get little time to do this. Watched 'Hanna'. A strange film but kept us on the edge of our seats (difficult whilst balancing dinner) and some great tracks from the Chemical Brothers.

A lovely peaceful bank holiday before returning to work tomorrow for the final preparations for the start of school next week. Where did the six weeks go?!
