Trail to the Grassmarket

Done more city centre stuff tonight than I've done in the last few months. With the onset of twilight at a reasonable time it's nice to get out and get some different shots.

Started off down at Holyrood just up the Radical Road a wee bit but was there too early to get any really clear light trails in front of the parliament. As the sky had some nice colour went from there up to Regents Road where I got a haul of nice shots over Waverley and the city. The D7000 is really starting to show it's class the more I get used to using it. Stacking the .9 and .6 grads staggered in the twilight really reigned in the sky and let the city shine too. Got a lot of stuff to reshoot like this I think...

Driving home up Chambers Street ducked down Candlemaker Row and dived out to get this shot, no filters. It's that classic view but the bus going past made the shot that little bit different. Ultra chuffed with this shot!
