What a wash out for a Bank Holiday, it's mainly pee'd it down here, with the odd dry spell.

The Son and Heir, Young Helen and Charlie went into Manchester today to see Jenson Button drive his F1 car through the streets of Manchester. It was a first for YH but the S&H and I saw the Sauber at the Trafford Centre a while back....they are so loud, you can feel the noise in your blood. They didn't get very close today, which was a pity because I'm sure they'd have made it on to the news as Charlie was wearing her lime green ear defenders! At the Trafford event the two of us were stood outside the garage when they fired the car up.....mind blowing!

I pootered about for most of the day trying to shoot some portraits following jkj10's advice....still not sure I've got it right but will keep going until I do....hebs will always help...if I ask nicely.

After the F1, they all went off for a Chinese banquet and then came over here for tea, which gave me, and YH, the chance to shoot lots of shots of Charlie....this is one of hers.

Hope the weather is better tomorrow.....I'm rapidly running out of holiday and I want to go fishing again....just for pleasure...........only 6 days left.
