Holocaust Reflection

The artwork is a mixed media box piece by Myer Lacome called Kristallnacht, Germany, 9 November 1938 at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow.
The caption for the work reads: "The night of broken glass - Kristallnacht. During this terrifying Nazi anti-Jewish pogrom - organised massacre - 267 synagogues, 1000 prayer halls and 7,500 businesses were destroyed. Ninety-one Jews were killed and 26,000 were arrested"

There were several pieces on the Holocaust theme by this artist and they moved me to tears.
