pitched at low level

I initially though that the blow-up plastic multi-sensory thingby was a child-specific event, pitched as it was at the south-east corner of George Square gardens, where a child-specific sub-venue usually lives, but it was reasonably well-populated by paying adults this evening when we dragged Edgar round it. He seemed slightly more impressed than when he was dragged around it by the nursery one day last week when he wouldn't let go of his minder. I was quite impressed at how he was still able to recognise me from tens of metres away in poor lighting. Trotting around it for three quarters of an hour certainly helped tire him out and will hopefully not give him nightmares...
