Time running short

Well today was moderately less lazy, managed to tidy up my room, put some pictures up on my wall and just a few bit more general sorting outs.

Also this evening I had a meeting with my friends dad and step mum for who I've been trying to organise some music for their wedding reception. I'm not going to say it's been easy, trying to get everyone to tell me when they're free to rehearse. People are away on holiday, and just being slow responding. But after meeting the couple i'm somewhat reassured, they may have changed the date that they want us on, but they want it to be very casual which is somewhat relieving. Although I still want it to be really good, so I'm not giving up yet!

At the moment i'm just looking once again and the websites for a few conservatoires I would like to go to. The whole prospect of university/ucas/cukas and all that lot does make me feel a little bit ill. I seem to have missed a few open days somehow, but now need to book onto other ones. Although there is a high chance i'll be taking a gap year so as to get a full time job and save some money for a new flute. We'll see.

I felt like quite an 'aged' photo today. This is my pocket watch that I bought in Prague on a bit of an impulse buy. But i'm fairly glad I did buy it, I take it around with me and find it comforting, i'm not sure why. But it reminds me of prague, and just all the good times. And also lets me know the time too! Time, another thing I could do with plenty more of ...
