Wine & Cheese Tasting

If you have the time, traveling by train just seems so civilized. On my way back to San Jose from Portland. This was the afternoon free wine and cheese tasting event in the parlor car. If you had a berth on the train you were invited. The wine and cheese were from Washington and Oregon and there was a steward to explain the various nuances for each tasting.

Did I say "civilized?"
