Feather Light

Pulled out the macro lens again today as I had about 10mns to devote to picture taking (my thanks to whatever bird it was that kindly shed that feather...)

So my encounter, documented yesterday, is going to cost me a pretty penny. How can some non-descript rubber and metal sheets be that expensive! sigh.

Ran into a snag on my upcoming vacation to France (we leave sunday) and have to make a last minute change to one of our weeks' rental in the south. I'll find out tomorrow if that pans out. And then, people at work are catching on to the fact that I'm leaving for a month: "oh! could you quickly do this? and that? before you leave?" Gawd, I'm so stressed right now!
