Long Island Monday

Irene is yesterday's news and life here on New York's Long Island has gotten back to it's normal summer pace. There are a few downed trees and some debrits to be cleaned up but mostly it was just a bad storm.

People here know that they dodged a bullet and they're grateful to their God that it turned out the way it did.

We'll be here all the rest of this week enjoying our grandchildren and their parents.
