Back to Blip...

Well, I haven't posted on here in over 2 years.
After browsing through my old entries I became immensely nostalgic.
My return to blip was inspired by my good friend, the one & only Liz Levacy. When Mary Caroline & I joined her in blip-land I was enjoying the best Autumn of my life.

Since then- I sold the camera I was using. The saddest thing one can do (throw away your passion). I went almost 2 years without a camera. My parents purchased me this one for Christmas, a Nikon d3000, knowing it wasn't the camera I desired but hoped it would hold me over until I was able to purchase the camera I truly wanted. This camera has since then remained on my shelf while I claimed it wasn't 'good enough'. In all honesty it remained untouched because I had lost belief in myself & my ability to capture a beautiful image.

Lately inspiration is arising all around me. I've realized: what we see, what moves us in every day life, that's beauty. I'm opening my eyes to this/letting it captivate for me for the first time in a long time. I know this seems heavy but I've only picked up a camera since 2008 a few times to only snap important personal events in auto.

Being inspired to the point of movement, that's something to share.

My blip is a self-portrait. With my entries I'm looking to capture the most exciting part of my day... in this case, new sunglasses came in the mail ! I know, I know, sad but come on, it was a Monday.

Cheers to blip

Cheyenne
