Brighton

The thing about Brighton is this, if you go once in a while for a laugh, a drink, some sea-air, fish n chips n deckchairs, it?s alright. Pretty tacky but you have a nice time, always. But, if you live there for a long time, past the barrier and into the flow, it becomes something kinda extraordinary.

It?s full of travellers. It?s full of friends. Full to brim. Everyone?s forever about and you can always walk there. People come and go then return, staying longer than intended.

I mean, it?s not perfect ? far from it. Somehow though, it?s always so nice to go back. Whatever the weather, when I?ve been out of town, whether because I now live in the suburbs, or am returning again from Asia, in varying degrees whenever I see the sign <BRIGHTON> I feel that buzz of endless possibility; chugging along an ever present current of cups of tea and cider =>
