Definitely fungus

...just not sure which type. I'd love to know though - and is it edible? There are two large clumps (not 100% sure that's the technical term) of it on a tree stump down the road see here.

In other news, I've decided that skinny mocha is the way to go: two fixes in one and a lot less calories. Don't know why I didn't think of it before!

PS - I'm pleased to report that following on from yesterday's Cowpat Incident, Polly and Basil are both clean again. For now...
