PAM

I've had my eye on Pam, ever since the Christian name idea came into my head. The colourful foot of a holiday child whizzing past was, I thought, a bonus. She was asking her Mum, "What's that?" pointing at the grill gate. It was, the Mum explained, the entrance to an underground car park. "Why?" came next. "Because up there, look, up there, they have built flats on top of Marks and Spencer, and that is the private car park for the residents.

I think it has been know for local people to buy a flat purely for the parking facilities.

PS: I wish I'd had a pair of shoes like this when I was young.....
