Water Water Everywhere
Disclaimer: I definitely posted this entry already but it's disappeared and I have to re-write the entry again. It won't be as good as the first time around..

Hurricane Irene has arrived! Since everyone else will be posting pictures of the not-so-lovely natural disaster, I'm going to post a picture of what I did while hiding from the rain and wind. Also, I wasn't willing to risk getting hit by flying debris to get some awesome action shot of Irene.
So, all in all, the storm wasn't too bad. Super windy and rainy for a bit, and the power went out a couple of times for a few minutes each. The only damage I heard of was that a tree fell over and blocked the road outside my dorm. Instead of going outside and splashing in puddles today, I had a super lazy day filled with food, sleep and TV. As pictured above, C and I had an indoor picnic of bread, Brie, and half a watermelon (each) while watching Coraline. All I have to say is that Coraline is a super creepy movie and half a watermelon is A LOT of watermelon...
My family back in CT is without power for up to the next week. Luckily, we have a backup generator that runs on gasoline, so the fridge and lights are still working. Hopefully the power come back soon because they've been burning through gas quickly!
