Trickle and Thrum

bridge of oich

this suspension bridge is over 150 years old and is just off the road between Fort Augustus and Fort William at Aberchalder. It was designed by James Dredge.

We travelled up beside Loch Ness and back today taking in the expensive but interesting Castle Urquhart, the canal at Fort Augustus, a brief stop at this bridge and then time for a swift pint in The Grog and Gruel in Fort William before heading back to the van for dinner

Tomorrow? Glenfinnan and possibly a distillery tour :)
