Storm Brewing

We spent a lovely lunch and afternoon with family at Bury St Edmunds. We hadn't been there before and met for lunch at the Abbey Refectory followed by some play time for the kids in Abbey Gardens.

The weather was beautiful and, if anything, uncomfortably warm and then looming over the horizon came the clouds.

Well we just made it back to the shelter of the Refectory when the heavens opened in a spectacular thunder storm. The kids were fascinated by the lightening and I always enjoy standing in shelter watching rain lashing down.
