Old Father Time

'Much may be done in those little shreds and patches of time which every day produces, and which most men throw away.'
Charles Caleb Colton

If that well-known site of tethering "facts" together, beginning with W is to be believed, Charles Caleb Colton lived for many years in Devon, he enjoyed wine collecting and is famous for the expression Imitation is the sincerest (form) of flattery.

Today I've been struggling with the swift passing of time (some days do just go!) and the guilty work/life/housework/productiveness/ balance - or lack of it - of being someone who works, rests and plays from home. It's a confusing, juggling head-spin. You go to do something and end up doing something completely unrelated and suddenly you've tied yourself in enough knots to make a fisherman's net (or something like that)
Someone posted a link to a blog post called 'Turn off Twitter and Don't Clean the House,' about making time for creative expression, by Anne Lamott, today. Wise words.

Anyhooo. It's late. And I have done stuff. Not sure what or for whom or how well but the day is over and I should be in bed.
