Autumn's coming

Although it is still officially summer, it definitely didn't feel like it on my bike this morning. It was cold and grey and I wish that I had worn my coat. Then when I got home I spotted this stray yellow leaf under my tree - a sure sign of autumn coming I think. It seems a bit of a shame as summer never really started here, I think that it's been permanently grey for the whole of August. I still have summer clothes that I haven't worn yet! And now I am beginning to think about my warmer clothes and contemplating the new shoes that I will need to buy......
