Quite Franc-ly

It's funny what you can find when you're not intentionally looking - for some unknown reason, I'd put this 50 Franc bill into the back of a photo frame.

It seems like France has had the Euro for ages now - but this must have been left over from a Summer in Charente, back in the late 90s - change from a meter of Ricard at the Festival de Confolens probably!

This billet de Cinquante Francs commemorates the short lived life of aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and features his charming literary masterpiece, Le Petit Prince.
