New Boots and Two Ukes

After work I popped over to Bella's gaff for dinner and a play. Things we did

1.We learned to count in auld Scots.

'12 extremely glaikit yowes,
got lowst in the knowes'

(12 very stupid sheep
got lost in the hills)

2.Read about getting a pet from the zoo

3. Learned to play Once I Had A secret Love on the ukulele - well sort of. We both played one chord all the way through, but it's a start.

...and discussed the merits of playground friends (she's got a day at nursery tomorrow)
