FIRE

Today there was a huge fire in our street. A crazy, HUGE fire. 3 or 4 people have lost their houses. We were evacuated for 5 hours from our flat as the fire was only a few doors up.

There were 40 or 50 fire fighters, 15 or 20 police officers and a few reporters and cameramen.

Our neighbours were great - passing out cups of tea, giving us the keys to their houses so we could go and rest there.

I just hope that the people who have lost their homes are OK.
