Italian Adventure day 6 - St Mark's

Day 6 - Venice.
Today was went to San Giorgio (the place I see every day in the canvas hanging on my bedroom wall) which was lovely. Followed by the Dodges Palace (my God they liked their splendor!) and St Marks Basilica. We then spent the afternoon getting lost in the backstreets, which is a lovely way of seeing a city. And it is very easy to get lost in Venice!

Piazza San Marco is one of my absolute favourite places - Napoleon called it 'the drawing room of Europe' (allegedly) which I love! It is such a cool place.

I hope to return to Venice very soon! A little part of my heart lives there...
