Butterfly

yes, another butterfly shot on blipfoto. I see them all the time. This butterfly has so many holes and rips in the wings.

I found a few facts: (I should have known these -- aging is cruel)
***They only live a week or two
**They sip water for hydration and only feed on nectar from flowers
***They obtain sugars for energy as well as sodium
**They sometimes land on people, attracted by the salt in human sweat.
