First day of the holiday

We're on holiday from earthquake ravaged Christchurch. Two weeks at the Gold Coast, Australia, will do us all the world of good. I work for a company which is extensively involved in the earthquake response and repairing and restoring the infrastructure of Christchurch. It's been a very busy year and there's lots to come, so a break now is just what is needed.

But even holidays can be exhausting! We had to get up at 3:30am to get to the airport. Travel days are always hard work. But I nice relaxing dip in the resort swimming pool has done wonders. Ahhhhhh.
