Wild Mushrooms

There are still girolles around. Still not much luck with ceps. I found a few but nothing to write home about. I also haven't found any hedgehog mushrooms either. But girolles are lovely when fried slowly in butter on a medium to lowish heat, i add some courgette, peas and broad beans if I have them and some fresh chopped herbs, chervil, parsley, chives and a little tarragon. This is lovely on toast!
