Austrian Girls

At Sunset on the North Rim of Grand Canyon, these young ladies asked me to take a photo with their point and shoot Canon camera. The first shot was overpowered with the sunlight and the girls were in their own shadows. We were disappointed. I suggested that we try portrait mode. As I set the dial I found that the menu information was in German so I asked "Are you German?". Oh no, they replied. "We are Austrians."

They are on a five week driving trip across the United States, starting in San Diego.

The portrait on their camera was so nice that I thought that I'd try a portrait mode photo with my camera and this is the result.
