Daffodils Day

Beautiful day today, lovely promise of spring, with a forecast of sleet and snow overnight which makes you appreciate the sun in the meantime now.
This is a lensbaby shot which in the end I have cropped out the daffodils themselves and they looked pretty ordinary and I was drawn to the stems and plants behind which came out rather interesting. Boring is not on the Spring day agenda.
No back blips as my card reader has failed. Have had this happened several times and I have got sick of buying new ones. Very annoying. Today I have shoved my card directly into the computer instead which is a major nightmare and requires pointed implements to retrieve.
