Survivor

This newborn lamb had crawled under the shed and got stuck while her mother was having the second twin. The ewe then licked the second lamb and forgot about the first. I only found it by accident when looking for my staff. Exposed to the south easterly gale it was suffering from hypothermia and almost lifeless. We took it into the house and put it into warm water and after drying it with towels and giving it a warm cushion it was soon looking for some milk. Hopefully the mother will accept it again after all the strange smells it has picked up by being inside and getting a bath.
