Ladies in waiting!

Went to York again this morning to collect a couple of things from my friend. Back home for lunch. The countryside is looking good in the sunshine today. It's busy in the fields at present with haymaking in progress. Inevitably the tractors are on the roads but they're working hard in this dry spell so good luck to them.
Called in on D and R's hens when we did the afternoon walk. Our last day of looking after them. These two looked surprised when I was checking out the egg situation! They looked very cosy in their beds of hay. Thanks girls for the eggs to date, lemon curd making this weekend I think.
