Anti-peck run

Yesterday I mentioned that I had built (modificated as Ally calls it) an anti-peck run for the chickens. JaneW wanted to know what it was so here it is in all it's glory.

When we went away in July the original 4 were kept in their Eglu run instead if having the run of the garden. Amber decided to start pecking the feathers from the bums of the other 3. We have tried anti-peck spray but basically it us a habit that needs to be broken. One of the recommended ways is to isolate the offender within sight of the rest of the flock for a few days...

I could have blipped the 3 new pairs of school shoes and the subsequent mugging in Clarks but that can wait for another day - bet you can't wait...
