Today was a rainy, dreary day.
I worked a bike race this morning.
As a rather large field of racers was about to finish, the man who is in charge of the finish results camera started cursing. His generator died, and the heavens opened up and deposited buckets of rain on my head. No photo finish for that race, but I managed to score most of the riders who came across the line.
Thank goodness for Rite in the Rain paper and rain suits!
Goes to show, you should never completely depend on technology.
