A promise

A beautiful rainbow, my camera really doesn't do it justice,

Anciently the rainbow is supposed to be a sign of the promise from God never to flood the entire earth again.
Modernly, at least to me, the rainbow also symbolises the eternal nature of man and his understanding, how we will always desire to grow
