Suited and Booted

One of the things I love most about London is the way that one place can be so different, depending on when you visit it.

Take Covent Garden, for instance.

Monday evening: post-work drinkers

Tuesday evening: theatre-going happy tourists

Wednesday late afternoon: Teenagers hoping that a modelling agency finally realises what they've been missing and snaps them up

Thursday morning: just your average suited and booted executives

Thursday lunchtime: artisan market attenders, and mothers with prams, wondering why on earth you'd put a lovely toy shop down 2 flights of stairs ......(ok, I admit it, that was me. I did get some rather lovely cheese, though)....

Friday evening: People on a mission to drink too much. To forget? To celebrate? Who cares?

Saturday daytime: Hen parties. The least said, the better.

Sundays: The few people left, hangover free, with enough combined patience and energy to shop.........
