Ghostly (Wedding) Trains
Wedding fever at work in anticipation of Angie's big day in September.Culminating in me dancing round in Angie's flower head dress pondering with the other ladies if it would go with the wedding dress (spookily also named Kate) that Stucks has picked out for me.
The romance was *slightly* marred when we realised we had nothing to simulate a veil apart from a white Home Bargains plastic bag. I won't lie to you dear reader,it wasn't the look I was going for!
Went for a few drinks with Phil tonight at the Head of Steam pub in Huddersfield. It was a nice quiet wednesday night crowd in there until a huge group of students who were enjoying pubgolf joined us. I think we must have been one of the last pubs on their round! They were very loud and having a really good time all dressed up in their golfing regalia.
Jumped on the last train home - it was eerily quiet. I was checking through my blips when we went though Standedge Tunnel and I lost signal- I looked up and it struck me how spooky empty trains are at night. So I grabbed my camera.
Checking through my blips? Yes,I was channelling Mr Wilde.
"I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train"
