The power of observation?

I often find that, after seeing photos on here, I go on to see the same thing myself and wonder if it's just coincidence or if some kind of subconscious, subliminal thing is going on that's making me aware of things I simply hadn't noticed before? You know, like when you get a new car and suddenly you're seeing the same model everywhere, even though you thought you'd got the only one!

I must have passed this power station a dozen times and never noticed it before today. It's pretty hard to miss, though, isn't it, even with all the greenery?

I can only think I finally saw it because of Ernie's blip of a couple of days ago, which I liked very much - how these places work always fascinates me.
