BRIGHTON ROCKS!*

*Apologies, I may have used this title before...

A fab time was had by all, as my immediate family and sister number 1's godmother headed to Brighton for the sun, blue skies and heaps of chips! It was sister number 1's birthday today, so we celebrated at the beach. It was a GLORIOUS day - we ate, we drank, I shopped in The Lanes.

We had a horror journey back though - it took about 3.5 hours because of "trespassers on the line" - WHAT?!

Ten years ago today, the England football team defeated the mighty Germany in their backyard - oh I remember it well! I was in Scotland for my friends' wedding, and we watched the match before going out to dinner - WOW! We were delirious, the locals didn't seem at all interested... ;-)
