Ocrayfishing

Went looking for crayfish with Eden River's trust today. We are surveying the local British species, as here in Cumbria we are yet to be infected by the invasive American signal crayfish. Fingers crossed, though I feel it is just a matter of time. Shot this poor beggar against the bucket, he has a claw missing and looks ready to moult (they darken between moults). This evening I went to the pub, still trying to pack.
