State Cup - Game 1

FIRST OFF.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY TO MY BROTHER, BILL. He's 46 today and on his birthday an Olympic trap coach was meeting with his son Billy to give him some pointers and check out his shooting as well as a couple others on his team. Wow!

After church we headed to Danville for Game 1 of the State Cup. What a beautiful town it is. It had a turn field so that is one reason I chose this pic for the blip. I took a TON of photos of the game, of course, but this one shows the rubber from the artificial turf flying up in the air after the ball bounced. Looks like Loren is looking up to see what other players are coming at him and the ball. The Thunderbirds WON their first State Cup game today!!!!! We won 5-3 (should have been 5-1 because they went over the time). It was great news and the boys were excited.

Our family and Nana & Papa made the drive home from Danville and then picked up a very tired Landon from Cody's house at 8:30 pm. I'll have trouble getting the boys up for school tomorrow considering they ate after that and got to bed late....but it was a nice day.
