Walk in the Rush Plantation

It's quite overgrown in there at the moment, particularly around the gate, once in and under the trees it's nbot so bad...not good for little people.

The air was full of ladybirds dive bombing and every plant seemed to have a group of them.
I went up there to see how far up the gate post they are, but it's a bit early for them to be starting to hibernate ...I think.
Last year they were at the top of the post, this -I am told- is a sign of a bad winter, they certainly got it right....so I'm keeping my leye on them.
