Suits you sir!

This work week has been hell, & I'm glad to have two days without the suit for this weekend! I'm on call for the weekend, but I shouldn't get any trouble! (Am touching wood as I type this so I don't jinx myself!)

If you will have read my previous blips you may know I've been covering the boss's job for the past three weeks (actually not sure if I've mentioned it or not) & that has been stressful doing my job, her job & (for the lack of a better term) breaking in a temporary supervisor. I'd never tell her but I'm glad she is back next week.. I don't know how she manages that job & manages to handle her personal life though.. As my stress levels from work have been affecting other parts of my life, snapping at friends, saying the wrong things, etc. etc. I've got more respect for my boss, but again I won't tell her that!

This final week has been chaotic with the major safety issue & suspending a staff member I like.. I issued him with the charge today.. Which means it's now out of my hands & into another managers to make the appropriate disciplinary action. I know the manager doing it & i think they will be able to give this guy a second chance..

Now the boss is coming back, I can count down towards my leave.. Which is in mid September.. I have a week & a half which should be great.. Hoping to go to an old workmates house over in Ireland for a few days. This should be good as bar a week house sitting in plumstead with one of my mates, I haven't had a 'holiday' or been away since September 2009 when I went Florida..

If I do expect many blips! For now I'm just gonna sink into my chair & hopefully stay here all weekend!
