Friday: Catnip

I had something completely different lined up for today but this was too funny.  When K. and I got home today, the catty boys, Max and Fred, were just sitting at the top of stairs, staring at us in a completely hysterical and jazzy manner.  

We couldn't quite figure out what was wrong with them until we heard lots of snuffling coming from the living room.  When we went in, we discovered that they had found a packet of catnip that had been lying on the side for over a year........until today they have shown complete indifference to the catnip, but tonight, they obviously needed their fix.

As I write, they are running up and down the stairs, somewhat hysterical.  They also seem to be starving.
