Hungry Sparrows
Today has been a much quieter day than yesterday's exploits (had to back blip for yesterday, so please take a look), the only mission today was to get youngest daughter some new school shoes ready for her and her sister's return to school next Thursday! (Yippee!!) Thankfully, it didn't turn into an ordeal at all; 1st shop, only 2 minutes away, 1st pair tried on!!! Sorted!!
When we got back home the bird feeders were being invaded yet again by at least 15 starlings gobbling up and fighting over the mealworms. Once they'd just about finished all the mealworms off, the sparrows decided it was safe to enjoy their feeding in peace!
Also the female Bullfinch has returned to the feeders in the last few days and this time she has a baby in tow!
We also had our first Great Tit on the feeders the other day and now a Robin is a daily visitor and also the Goldfinches have returned after a short absence. Hoping to see some different varieties of birds now the seasons are changing
