Heading West
A trip into London produced an embarrasment of riches as far as blips for today but I plumped for this.
It is the weather vane on top of Libertys of London. I believe it is meant to be The Golden Hind. But that is not the only connection with shipping and the building itself, as the timbers used to front the store came from two ships, HMS Hindustan and HMS Impregnable. The width of the store front is exactly the same as the length of The Hindustan.
