Sunflowers in Sunset

I have been watching this field of sunflowers for a few days now, waiting for an opportunity to take some pictures.
This evening on my way out to a friend's for supper I happened to notice the sun setting behind them in my rear view mirror, as I drove along the lane.

I had to clamber up a bank into the field in my high heeled sandals to get the angle just right, but I think the nettle stings on my feet were worth it.
