Late Boomer

I noticed a pot of "dirt" on the deck with a bit of green showing. I immediately started watering it to see what it was. As it grew I noticed bulbs starting to show in mid August. When the first one opened I was surprised to see it was a white Easter Lily. Usually see them in March or April. I'm now enjoying a "late bloomer" with our forrest in the background. We are surrounded on three sides with trees.
