Downtown Art Walk

The Downtown Art Walk in Bellingham takes place on the first Friday of each month. It's an opportunity to see a wide variety of artwork by local and renowned visiting artists in many different locations downtown.

C and I had an early light dinner at Mount Bakery and then walked down to a reception at the Waterfront Artists' Studios, a funky old building housing 18 artists. We enjoyed the live music and the art. Our favorite artist was Lorna Libert, seen posing with one of her paintings. C couldn't decide whether she liked this one the most, or a painting of a sheep. As you know from a previous blip, she's very fond of cows, but she also has a soft spot for sheep.
