Well Worth the Wait

I have been waiting for this opportunity for over a year!

Our hide is on the banks of the River Aire, just above a weir. Directly in front of the hide is a long pole, purposely positioned to attract Kingfisher. Whilst we have seen the odd blue flash disappearing along the river, it has been a long while since the Kingfisher Pole was used for its designated purpose.

Well it was today. Brilliant!!
