Miles

There's been a lot of folk sticking up bike portraits over the last week and now it's my turn. Forget all that talk about gears, fixies, carbon-fibre frames, single-speeds and a plethora of lycra all over this site, the bike shown here has a highly covetable feature that I bet none of the bikes so far blipped possess. Namely, that there's a little switch on the handlebars (thumb-shift, no less) that turns on the bubble machine. Yep, that's right, this bike can blow bubbles! At will. Be the envy of everyone as you whizz past them and they get a face full of the soapy spheres. Slack-jawed doesn't even close to the expression they'll be pulling.

Elsewhere - some music. I'm all for the opinion that any band can be covered, any artist can be remixed and generally mucked around with. There's no room for preciousness in my book. So, when one of the all-time jazz greats got remixed it was all fine and dandy. When those remixes in turn then got remixed again that was, if anything, even better.
